Since blood can’t be manufactured, it is our responsibility to come forward in contributing to maintain a significant stock of blood collected and to help not-so fortunate ones.
Nethralokana Sathkara at Vision Care organised Blood Donation Camp in association with National Blood Centre (NBC), Narahenpita on 07th June, 2013. Marketing team canvassed for this noble cause and was able to garner many donors within the Group of Companies. In presence of highly qualified doctors and technicians from National Blood Centre, staff donated a total of 28 units in the camp. Donors also received a card from NBC for free blood units in exchange of blood donated and refreshments. This was one more achievement of CSR team which is committed to contribute to society’s betterment.
