Free Eye Screening Program

This is a collaborative project with Grand Hotel Nuwara Eliya and Vision Care Nuwara Eliya Branch with Nethralokana Sathkara. 

Grand Hotel organized a medical camp at Nuwara Eliya Town for needy on 14^th October, 2018 and Vision Care joined as their eye care partner providing eye screening service and free spectacles.   As eye health problems, especially cataract and refractive errors, are more common among older people, thorough eye examinations were conducted and over hundred reading glasses were donated to the needy.  We believe that good sight enables better quality of life and allows older people to continue to play an active role in their families and communities.
