World Diabetes Day is the primary global awareness campaign focusing on diabetes mellitus and is held on 14 November each year.
Vision Care Wennappuwa Branch with Life Care Hospital offered free, annual screening program and conducted an awareness program on diabetic retinopathy and other common complications of the eye which affects many people across the country living with diabetes. We are confident that the true impact of our programme, reduction in blindness and vision impairment due to diabetic retinopathy, will be achieved.
