Eye Clinic at Rainbow Centre Matara

Healthy vision is essential for children’s development and future. To help detect and correct unidentified vision problems in children, as a part of CSR initiatives, Vision Care Corporate Office with Mobile Optical Unit organized an eye screening program at Rainbow Centre Matara on September 11^th, 2016.

Vision Care teams conduct free eye check-ups at various schools from time to time and provide free spectacles to those in need of vision correction.

The Rainbow Centre opened on December 1^st 2005, provides daily education, food, welfare, medical treatment and loving support to children living in extreme poverty in south western Sri Lanka. It currently takes care of about 100 children within a 42km radius.
