Free eye screening program at LADANI Institute

The most common causes of blindness or poor vision in children are uncorrected glasses power.  Therefore, celebrating its 12^th Anniversary, Wennappuwa Vision Care Branch organized an eye testing program at LADANI Institute Katuneriya on May 26, 2019, as a part of their CSR initiatives.  

LADANI Institute shelters several hundreds of orphan children and provides them with all means to ensure a decent future.  During the program over one hundred children were screened and the children diagnosed with visual deficiencies are referred to the eye clinic at the general hospital.
