Nethralokana Sathkara concerns about an area where there is a less attraction when it comes to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). It is focused on meeting the behavioral healthcare needs of the society and supporting units that have a meaningful impact on people’s mental health.

Through our relationship with Ward 59 at National Hospital Colombo and Sumithrayo at Nugegoda we are making a difference in the lives of needy people and helping to make a better future for them. As we are mainly focused on improving “Teaching Section” when it comes to “Children”, one of our primary missions is to financially support these units to improve their “Counseling” facilities in this “Humanity” section.

Other than regular donations for the main focus, Nethralokana Sathkara willing contributes to improve the wellbeing of their patients in similar Units. Throughout the world, there is increasing interest in the relationship between natural outdoor spaces and human health.

It is a known factor that physical activity in natural environments can reduce stress, improve mood and mental restoration when compared to the equivalent activity in congested environments. Believing this factor, Nethralokana Sathkara has built up a leisure garden for all female admissions and their visitors at Ward 09, Teaching Hospital, Peradeniya. Furthermore, it funded to uplift infrastructure facilities at female ward at National Hospital recently.
