project conducted as part of commemorating 25 years of Vision Care, the country\u2019s leading eye care services provider, was successfully concluded in Colombo on the 24th of July 2016.\u00a0 Launched on the 19th of April this year, the project reached the goal of distributing 25,000 spectacles free of charge among deserving Sri Lankans, in all corners of the country, through 6 mega events and 40 branches of the organization.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section beneficiaries made submissions at the company\u2019s branches, on a first-come-first-serve basis.\u00a0 This was followed by testing events which were predetermined appointments for a comprehensive eye test.\u00a0 Based on these tests, the orders were processed through a dedicated channel of glass-making created to cater for this project, ensuring speedy delivery.\u00a0 Finally, the spectacles were distributed among the applicants at scheduled awarding events at the respective locations.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-f71d1ff elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"f71d1ff\" data-element_type=\"section\" Further, being there and acting in a kind, caring way towards them was an important psychological support to them after a traumatic event.
