Elmo Jayawardena is the Founder of AK Lit Fest.\u00a0 They had lined up a string of events, including a panel of blind authors, a public discussion on whether literature should be censored, the importance of women bloggers, and an exercise in spontaneous poetry. This medical camp was organized by Dialog Axiata PLC with NETHRALOKANA SATHKARA by Vision Care. After completing a successful screening program, about 55 spectacles were delivered to the needy. Further, being there and acting in a kind, caring way towards them was an important psychological support to them after a traumatic event.
