SPREADING THE GIFT OF KNOWLEDGE: VISION CARE’S SUPPORT FOR THE AKURU – NUWARA ELIYA PROJECT

At Vision Care, we believe that education is the foundation for a brighter future. As part of our commitment to empowering communities, we proudly contributed Rs. 50,000 worth of books to the AKURU – Nuwara Eliya Project, an initiative by Realistic Energy of Creative Alliance (RECTA) & Trips Lanka aimed at providing essential stationery to underprivileged students.

The project, successfully completed on January 4, 2025, at CP/W/ Harasbedda Sinhala Maha Vidyalaya, Walapane, Nuwara Eliya, brought hope and joy to 301 students from Grades 1 to 13. Through this initiative, these young learners received much-needed educational resources, easing their challenges and encouraging them to pursue their studies with enthusiasm.

The smiles on the children’s faces and the gratitude from their teachers, parents, and school staff reaffirm the impact of this meaningful cause. We at Vision Care are honored to be a part of this RECTA initiative this year, in nurturing young minds and ensuring that financial hardships do not stand in the way of a child’s right to education.
