20th Madam Kiyoko Ogawa-Scholarship Programme by Japan Sri Lanka Technical and Cultural Association (JASTECA) was held on Ampara educational area in Ampara District on Sunday 22nd September 2019. The main objective of this project is to award scholarships for a period of 24 months to students of underprivileged parents living in remote areas of Sri Lanka. These students who performed well at the GCE Ordinary Level examination are granted financial scholarship awards to pursue their studies in the GCE Advanced Level examination. By partnering with JASTECA, Nethralokana Sathkara donated essential school supplies with the stationeries necessary to be successful in the classroom, for the selected 25 students.
