Eye Screening Program at Kilinochchi

In line with Nethralokana Sathkara objectives, empowering people with free vision correction solutions & the correct eye care awareness is key.

Nethralokana Sathkara recently extended yet another CSR initiative for less privileged by conducting an eye camp at Kilinochchi with the help of Vision Care Mobile Unit, in the Northern Province, to restore the vision of less-privileged Senior Citizens.  Vision Care runs eye camps for basic eye care education and optical services with eyeglasses often are either inaccessible or unaffordable for the poor in rural and peri-urban areas.  Sri Lanka Army 682 Brigade Puthukudyiruppu organized the event and assisted to find suitable candidates for this program.   After screening over one hundred & thirty needy, 100 reading spectacles were provided free, to those in need of vision correction.
